Meet Our Minister

John Pigg
John and Beth Pigg
grew up in Rankin County and graduated from Pearl High School in Pearl,
Mississippi. They have two married sons and 2 grandchildren and
they have enjoyed thirty-nine years of marriage and ministry
together. They came to the Lake Harbour church the first of 2001
and have made their home in Ridgeland.
John was educated
at Freed-Hardeman Christian University, Harding Christian University,
University of Mississippi and Harding Graduate School of Religion.
He is a multi-talented minister with a great love for God, His word and
His people. He has spent over twenty years preaching in
Mississippi. He has also conducted gospel meetings and has
spoken at lectureships and youth rallies held in Alabama, Arkansas,
Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Oregon,
Tennessee and Texas.
John is a zealous
soul-winner with a passion for building up the local church. He
cares about our community and every family in our congregation.
Our spiritual needs are his vital concern.
John writes,
"I am thoroughly excited about us reaching out to the tri-county
area from Madison/Ridgeland with the gospel of Christ. We must
stand fast in the Scriptures, be a loving church toward God and others,
and live daily in step with the Spirit. If we make this our
mission, God can and will grow a great church here!"
Other Accomplishments:

Brother Pigg has served on the Alumni Board of Directors
for Freed-Hardeman University.

He has also served as the Session Director and on the Board
of Directors for Sardis Lake Christian Camp in Sardis, Mississippi
for many years.

He is a former faculty member of Magnolia Bible College,
where he also served as the Director of Development and on the Board
of Trustees.
